A light colored Saison style beer trying the "Fermentis - Safale - Belgian Saison Ale Yeast BE-134" dry yeast.

Recipe

Fermentables

  • 2kg Pilsener (Greenswaen)
  • 50g Dutch Ale (Swaen)
  • 50g Flaked Oats (De Halm Bio)

Hops

  • 10g Magnum for bittering
  • 50g Cascade (homegrown) for aroma

Yeast

  • 1 package of Safale BE-134.

Salts

No Brewing salt additions.

  • 20200126: brew day; 9l OG: 1.046
  • 20200208: spiked with a teaspoon of "probi-plus" from De Ploeg
  • 20200212: spiked with Orval dregs from 2018
