Recipe

Fermentables

  • 400g Vienna (Greenswaen)
  • 200g Pilsener (Greenswaen)
  • 200g Flaked Oats (De Halm Bio)
  • 196g Carabelge (Weyermann)
  • 150g Brown (Thomas Fawcett)
  • 50g Chocolate (Dingemans)
  • 50g Roasted Barley (Brouwland)
  • 50g Black (Brouwland)
  • 100g Lactose (late addition)

Hops

  • 6g Magnum for bittering

Yeast

  • 1 package of Safale S-04

Salts

  • 2g CaSO4
  • 2g NaHCO3

  • 20191015: moved from basement to living
  • 20191102: bottled 7.5l FG: 1.018

  • 20200208: still tasty after 3 months, mellow roastiness and lots of chocolate in the mouth, excellent!
